Installation

To install WordTalk:

  • If you have the CD, double click on WordTalk.msi
  • If you are downloading WordTalk from this website, run the installer.

1. Previous version of WordTalk already installed?

If you have a previous version of WordTalk installed then the best procedure is to remove the old version first.

Remove WordTalk from Word popup box

Load WordTalk Startup from the Start menu and choose Remove WordTalk Toolbar from Word.

Add/Remove programs icon in control panel.

Next, go to Start -> Control Panel -> Add and Remove Programs.

Uninstall both WordTalk and WordTalkInstall.

2. Do you have the Microsoft .NET Framework installed?

In order for WordTalk to work, the Microsoft .NET Framework package is required on your PC. The WordTalk installer will detect if this is currently on your machine and if it not it will direct you to a website where you can download it. However, you may wish to download the .NET Framework package from this site.

3. Install WordTalk

After starting the WordTalk Installer you well be presented with Welcome screen, click the Next button.

Check the install location, click the Next button.

After reading the Licence agreement and agreeing to its terms, click the Next button.

Confirm the installation and click the Next button.

The installation is now complete. Click the Close button.
